Intuitive

In the ancient Sumerian initiatic tradition, every moment, every element, every event carries meaning. By developing intuition to read these events, one can be wiser than those who rely on rationality alone.

Drawing on the Vedic concept of the third eye and the Sumerian initiatic understanding of the pineal gland, this work reflects the understanding that intuition is a faculty as real as reason. A developed intuition makes one perceive useful patterns that the rational mind cannot.

Jung later gave this phenomenon a name: synchronicity, events connected not by physical cause but by underlying meaning.

Reason alone demands cause and effect, dismissing a repeating number or an unexpected encounter as mere chance. Without intuition, these events are dismissed as random and meaningless. Once intuition recognizes the pattern, reason can interpret it.

But intuition without rationality is equally incomplete. Intuition ungrounded projects desire onto events, mistaking wish for signal. The discipline is to read what is there, not what the ego wants to find. Balance is not optional: reason without intuition is blind, and intuition without reason is lost.

When you stop trying to control the future, you begin to read the present.
