Prosperous, large-format original by Roberto Simões

We live in a world focused on competition, mainly because we believe that resources for survival are limited. This way of thinking creates fear and makes it hard for us to see nature's greatness.

Nature is extremely abundant: it is creating all the time. A single tree produces thousands of seeds. A single season regenerates an entire ecosystem. On Earth there is no lack, only flow. Scarcity is a human construct. A construct that grows larger as we disconnect from nature. Animist societies did not see scarcity. They saw a living system that supports everything on it.

The Sumerian initiatic tradition mapped this understanding through the base chakra, the seat of vital energy and survival. It answers to Cancer, which governs origins, family, home, and gratitude for where we come from.

Ancient civilizations understood the Earth as a conscious, caring force. They called her Mother for a reason: Gaia, in Greek mythology, is the archetypal mother who provides abundantly for all life.

With a mother this abundant, lack is a story, not a condition. If she gives everything she has, prosperity is not accumulation. It is the trust that you are already held by a system that has never stopped giving. It is the awareness that you have what you need to build what you came here to build.

Scarcity is a belief. Abundance is the condition. Prosperity is what happens when you stop confusing the two.

Visually, the piece centers on the Sumerian secret seal of Cancer, woven with hermetic geometry.
